Private Dining at 1818 Chophouse

1818 Chophouse offers (2) private dining spaces within the restaurant to fit your needs. Our Manor room seats 10-12 guests comfortably. The Estate Room seats 10-18 guests comfortably.

The two rooms combined in its entirety are available for a minimum of 19 guests and a maximum of 42 guests. 

Both rooms are booked in two hour increments. Our Private dining rooms carry a $25 room rental fee for an individual room, or $50 for the two rooms combined. 

We are happy to accommodate requests for additional booking time, please request during initial booking to ensure proper accommodations are made. Rentals for a 4 hour event reflect a $50 individual room fee, and $100 for both rooms combined. 

Guests are welcome to bring their own decorations provided no tape, tacks, nails or fasteners of any kind are attached to any surface of 1818 Chophouse property. All decorations must be removed at the conclusion of the event by the party host. No confetti or glitter of any kind is allowed. Violations of 1818 Chophouse decoration policy will result in a $250 cleaning fee applied to your final bill. 

1818 Chophouse is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

The Manor and Estate Rooms are handicap accessible.

Food & Beverage | Menu Options | Requirements

1818 Chophouse’ team is dedicated to assisting you in choosing the best Food & Beverage options for your event. In order to uphold our service standards set forth by 1818 Management, we offer multiple dining options available to our valued guests, based on the size of your party.

Food and Beverage Minimums excludes tax (9.6%) & service charge (20%)

11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. $20 Per Person

2:00 p.m.-Close  $40 per person 

Menu Options

10 Guests or More – A la carte Brunch, Lunch and Dinner Menu Available 

16 Guests or More – Fully Customizable Limited Menus or Plated Meal (Custom menus will be created for you and your guests by our in house specialist based on your preference of menu title, colors, theme etc)

Limited Menus: Appetizers, Salad Course, Family Style Accompaniments & Desserts must be pre determined during the planning process with your 1818 Chophouse Event Specialist. The Main Entrée Course will be selected by your guests during the time of your reservation.
Plated Meal: All Appetizer, Salad, Entrée & Dessert selections will be predetermined during the booking process. All Guests will receive the same meal. 

Exclusions: Allergen, Vegan and Vegetarian meals can be made available for any guests in your party.

Beverages
Consumption Bar or all-inclusive Bar/Beverage Package Options are available, prices are based on a 2-hour Reception. Your Event Specialist will provide Bar Package Options in a separate email for your review upon request. Illinois law prohibits the consumption or purchase of alcohol by anyone under the age of 21. 1818 Chophouse reserves the right to refuse alcohol to any guest that is not of drinking age, cannot produce proper identification to verify age, or to any guest who appears to be intoxicated. Our bartenders are experienced professionals and certified for safe alcohol service.

Final Confirmation – The final guaranteed guest count is required (1) week prior to the event. The final guest count may not be reduced after confirmation. All food & beverage charges are based on the guaranteed guest count provided, unless the actual number of guests is greater. There are no exceptions to this rule. Please use the event order discussion thread to email or call 618-307-9300 to provide final guest count no more than 7 days prior to the event. Should we not receive a confirmation number, or we are unable to reach you, the estimated guest count provided upon booking will be used as the final headcount for your event. The host will be billed a “no show” fee in the amount of $35 per person for a reduction in party size if it is within 7 days of the event.

Media – A 60 Inch Flat Screen tv is accessible via HDMI/VGA port. 1818 Chophouse will provide proper cables for Windows & Apple Computer connectivity. A $75 rental fee for these services will be applied toward your final bill should your party request/ approve these services at time of booking. All Media equipment must be returned to 1818 Chophouse in working order at the conclusion of your event. Should damage or accidental removal of these items from the premises occur, a replacement fee of $75 will be charged to the card on file.

Attire - At 1818 Chophouse, our dress code is well established and is imposed for all of our guests and their families to enjoy a pleasant, comfortable, intimate and safe atmosphere. 

Brunch & Lunch 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Comfortable yet polished attire is requested.
Example: Polo shirts, shorts, pants, tasteful activewear, shoes, dresses, blouses. 

Dinner Service 4:00 p.m.- Close Business Casual attire is requested.
Example: Apply the polished-yet-comfortable look to item you would wear at the workplace. In general, business casual defines dressing professionally. Suits, collared shirts, skirts, dresses, heels, loafers, pants, shoes. Denim is permitted.
Pajamas, Swimsuits, Lingerie, Transparent Clothing Exposing Nudity are not permitted.

Billing Terms and Conditions –

Split checks are not permitted. Please make proper arrangements with your party in advance to ensure our best service standards by 1818 Chophouse are upheld.
